Obituary of Raymond McIntyre, Reserve Mines

Raymond McIntyre Reserve Mines It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray McIntyre, Age 70. Ray passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Glace Bay Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Michael and Violet (Chant) McIntyre. Ray worked as a letter carrier until his retirement, he loved playing bridge and going to Tim Hortons. Ray is survived by his brother, John R., Reserve Mines; sisters, Miriam, Reserve Mines and Donna Leah, Alberta. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Ray was predeceased by a brother, Michael. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. There will be a private family burial at a later date. We the family would like to thank Dr. O’ Brien and the nursing staff of the 3rd floor for their compassion and care they showed Ray over the past two and half months.
