A very sad time in our lives when we lose a cornerstone in our family .the one who would find a way to help anyone without hesitation,,his heart was bigger than any firetruck..you brought a lot of joy to so many Stevie ..and always put others needs ahead of your own,,your Musical Abilities will remain legendary like Uncle Sanders yodelling and laughter ..love and prayers to all Sander got it in tune for ya ...give your mother my godmother a hug for me ..Clouds will be rocking the kitchen party now.. I am so sorry to hear the passing of Stephen. I used to really enjoy listening to him and his brother's playing Christmas parties at his parents house. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. God bless

My heart goes out to all of Steven's family, He was a special person and his kindness and talent will never be forgotten. He touched many lives. He was my cousin, although we went different ways in life I always thought of him with admiration for all he did.

On behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 015, New Waterford we offer our deepest condolences to Stevie’s wife Niecie, his children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his siblings. Stevie was a very dedicated and active member of our Branch until his stroke made it too difficult for him to get around. He loved to play his guitar and harmonica along with his brother Curtis at every Kitchen Party & Chase the Ace function we had for many years. He brought joy and laughter to everyone who was lucky enough to know and love him. You will be remembered and missed forever Stevie. RIP
