Dear Marsh Family, I want to extend my sympathies and condolences on the death of "Sister" Marsh. I grew up in Reserve and have had a long standing relationship with the Marsh's. In face, Siter's brother Sylvester worked with my Dad at his Barber shop. I went to school with the Marshes and have many happy memories of them from those days. I would see Sister at Harbourstone on occasion and always enjoyed talking with her. God bless you and Sister with peace Fraternally Fr. Bedford Doucette .

My fondest memory of the many I have of Sister is when she came to Halifax and stayed with us in our student housing apartment on Wellington Street, close to the hospital where she visited her sister, Gilbert, when she was in hospital. We shared meals and time together. She was kind, so funny, and caring. I really missed her when she went back home. I saw Sister at Harbourstone a few days before she passed and am happy I had those final moments with her. May she rest in peace. A life well lived.

My dear aunt...Sister....as we called her, looked after our Mom for 25 years following our Dad's death. I still have the letter Sister wrote me in 2004, 2 yrs. after Mom died, where she writes " I still miss your Mother. We went nearly every day. Now I don't like going alone." ".......the trees (in your mother's yard) are really red...really nice....". Always the generous person, Sister. You will be missed and always loved. Beth.
