It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Carmel Walzak, 75, on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016

at home.

Carmel possessed many great qualities but above all was a good, loving mother to her son, Christopher.

Surviving are her husband, Hugh Walzak; son, Christopher (Michelle), Sydney; brother Joe Burns, Hamilton, Ont;

grandchildren, Zachary and Christopher.

Besides her parents, Billy and Mary Burns, she was predeceased by sisters Alma, Corinne, Patricia and brothers Clarence and Wally.

There will be no visitation. A funeral mass of celebration will take place Thursday, September 8, at 10 a.m. in the Parish Church of St. Leonard, Mount Carmel Avenue, with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, New Waterford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
