Obituary of Shirley Lewis, Glace Bay

Shirley Lewis, age 90 passed away on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at Seaview Manor, Glace Bay. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Emma (Allen) Lewis. Shirley was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Glace Bay and was also a retired hairstylist. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by four brothers, Fred, Aubrey, Ray, Phillip and one sister, Mildred. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. Graveside prayers will be held on Friday, September 24th, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, Glace Bay with Rev.
