I only knew Lillian through facebook because of her love for wheatens. I came to know she was passionate about her family, all the children she taught, the Habs and of course her dogs. My condolences to her family and friends.

My condolences to all. Lillian was such a sweet soul. She was always so kind to myself and my family. In fact, she and the pups helped my daughter get over her fear of dogs. She will be dearly missed.

Lillian was a wonderful person and always smiling. We had some fun filled evenings this past winter and some late nights playing rumoli at Pauline's. She really enjoyed it and many humorous stories were shared. So glad that the six of us took the time to be together. We never know what the future has instore for us. She is already missed and we had many laughs last Sat. evening as we conversed before and after supper in her honour. GO HABS GO ! In sympathy, Allan Nicholson

I’m thinking of you all during this difficult time and send my sincerest condolences. I have very fond memories of Lillian’s sense of humour, mischievous nature and love of a good laugh. She was very highly regarded and admired within the MacInnis family. I’m comforted that she is reunited with her Mom, Dad, brothers and wheatens in heaven. Lillian will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by those of us who are still here. Rest in peace Lillian.

We are so saddened to hear of Lillian’s passing. I have known her since her childhood days spent on Connaught Ave. We taught next door to each other for many years. It was easy to see why she was so loved by her students; I should say children because that is how she treated each one of them, including my Granddaughter. RIP , Beautiful Lady with your wonderful parents and two awesome brothers. You will certainly be missed by so many of us.

Many hearts were saddened when they heard of Lil's passing this past weekend. A dear friend of mine and an educator to both my children many years ago. We also shared an avid interest in both the Habs and dogs, although I must say Lil, your love of the Habs outdid most everyone elses'. They will win that cup for sure now with their own personal angel rooting for them . I often chuckle when I think of you telling me about your attempt to make dog treats. Rest easy, my friend. The battle has been long and hard. You are missed.
