John Ronald Dort, formerly of Glace Bay passed away on Friday, April 14th, 2023.

Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Theresa (McAulay) Dort, R.N., and the late George Dort.

Besides his mother, John is survived by his cousins, Blaine McAulay, Darlene (McAulay) Elliott, Virginia (McAulay) Donovan, Louise (McAulay) Gillis and relatives in Hamilton, Ontario and B.C.

John was predeceased by his dad, George, sister, Pamela and cousin, Debbie McAulay.

Under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay, a private burial will be held at a later date in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
