Helen Loretta Robinson, age 74 of Glace Bay passed away on Thursday, October 5th, 2023 in Cape Breton Hospice, Sydney.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Alfred P. and Jeanette (Wilson) Robinson.

Loretta was a very caring, compassionate, fun-loving lady with a heart of gold. She enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, listening to the old country songs and watching Nascar racing.

She is survived by her sister, Irma Catherine Robinson, ON, two stepdaughters, Deborah Routledge (Clarence), Patsy Bond (Gary), two stepsons, Dennis and Glenn, special niece, Susan Robinson, seven step grandchildren, Marissa, Devon, Eric, Megan, Patrick, Miranda, Kailyn and many nieces and nephews.

Loretta was predeceased by her companion, Patrick Daniel Hall, five sisters, Joan Mary and Mary Caroline in infancy, Jeanette Arlene, Marion Patricia, Joan Agnes and four brothers, William Alfred, Charles Robert, John Donaldson, Hector Robinson.

Cremation has taken place. The funeral service is Thursday, October 12th at 11 am in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
