It is with much sadness that we the family announce the passing of our dear brother and uncle, Patrick Joseph (Pat) Coffin on September 22nd, 2024 at his home in Glace Bay.

Born in Glace Bay on Nov 30, 1946 to Edward and Frances Josephine (Wilmot) Coffin.

Pat is survived by his brothers; Johnnie, Vancouver, Bill (Audrey), Albert Bridge, Kevin (Karen) Port Morien, sisters; Elizabeth (Cornelius) MacIsaac, Howie Center, Lynn (Mike) Keith, Dartmouth, Donna (Francis) Andrecyk and Darlene (Daniel) LeBlanc of Glace Bay. 

Pat is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Pat was predeceased by his brother, Greg and sister, Gladys.

Visitation will take place Wednesday evening, September 25th from 7-9 pm in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay.  

The funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10 am in Holy Cross Church, Seaview St, Glace Bay with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating. Reception to follow with interment in the parish cemetery.

Memorial donations in Pat’s memory may be made to Holy Cross Church or a charity of one’s choice.
