Carol Cochrane, age 91 of Dominion, passed away on Thursday, October 10th, 2024 in Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Earl & Mary Ann (Marsh) Cochrane.

She was a devote member of the former St. Eugene’s Church in Dominion. Carol was a teacher, former nun and a supervisor in the Antigonish School System.  She was a fun-loving lady who enjoyed travelling the world.

Carol is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by two sisters, Audrey, Ruth and one brother, Wes.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay.

The funeral mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Bridgeport on Thursday, October 17 at 11 am followed by interment in St. Eugene’s Cemetery. Fr. Dan Boudreau presiding.
