Everyone needed a friend like John Michael to get them through some tough times. He was the type of friend that if you had a problem, then so did he, and he would do anything to make you feel better about it.
You also could not do anything or go anywhere with this guy without having a lasting story to tell afterwards, usually with tears of laughter! John Michael had a way of leaving a lasting impression with everyone he met along the way.
When we were kids I crashed my 4 wheeler in the woods and broke my foot. The bike was destroyed and I couldn't walk so JM carried me out to the road like a baby so I could get picked up. Despite my anguish he made me laugh the whole way out.
Wish we could have stayed a bit closer over the years... I'll miss ya buddy.
To Cecilia and Wayne, I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. Love you guys.

I am so sorry to hear of John Michael's passing. I still think of him as that little boy in the baseball cap following behind you everywhere and seeing him play baseball the only thing he loved almost as much as his Mom. He was a sweet, funny and sensitive young man with a huge heart, big smile and a twinkle in his eye. Please accept my sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers to you all.
