Pius Gouthro, Ottawa, Reserve Mines Obituary
Pius Gouthro, age 72, formerly of Reserve Mines, passed away on February 14th, 2025 in Ottawa.
Born in Reserve Mines, he was the son of the late Pius & Marie (Caume) Gouthro.
Pius enjoyed playing bingo and going out to Mira when he came home for visits. He is survived by two sisters, Judy Stubbard, Mary Bushnik, two brothers, Billy “Soot” and Paul “Brother” Gouthro as well as nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay followed by interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
