Obituary of Patricia (Patsy) MacDonald, New Waterford

It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing of Patricia (Patsy) MacDonald on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford.

She was born in Inverness on March 17, 1932, to the late James and Veronica MacPherson.

Patsy is survived by her two sons, Vic (Bev) and David; grandchildren, Caley and Cohen; sisters, Lorraine (Bernie) Jessome and Carol Hood; brother, Gary; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Patsy was predeceased by husbands Vic MacDonald and Bruce MacNeil; sisters, Flo, Myrna, Eileen and brother, Jimmy (Bacon).

Cremation has taken place. A private funeral service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, New Waterford, with Father Godwin Obike officiating. A reception will take place in the funeral home with burial to follow in St. Agnes cemetery. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at: www.vjmcgillivray.ca.
