To Helen's children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters,
I was so sad to hear the news of Helen's death; a person of great faith and a very hard worker. My memories of Helen include working with her at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, enjoying a good cup of tea in her kitchen, and getting a nice phone call on my birthday. Her respect and support are two things that I will always treasure. She treated me with such care and was always interested in what I was doing and how I was.
One thing I will always treasure is her loyalty to our Sisters, we were so fortunate to have Helen work with the Hospital Administrator who were sisters. They relied on her sense of confidentiality and respect. She supported them and cared for them for many years.
To you her family thank you for sharing your Mom with us, thank you to Helen for being such a good friend. Helen, I believe that when God welcomed you home, he would have said to you "Well done good and faithful servant".
So as you gather and share memories of Helen, know that she is being remembered by those of us who were Blessed to have known her.
