It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our beautiful Mom, Nanny and Grammy, Marion Williams on October 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.  

Mom will be lovingly remembered by her pride and joy, her children; daughter, Cindy(Glen) and son, Ervin Jr.; her four granddaughters, Natasha(Joey), Nicole(Ryan), Tanya(Jason), Crystal(Albert) whom she adored with all her heart. She leaves behind nine wonderful great grandchildren, Kyptin, Bentley, Ryder, Hudson, Nevaeh, Cash, Presley, Myla and Kruz. She was also survived by her brother, Gary and sister, Sandra. Mom was also blessed to have a beautiful extended family; Jessica(Kurtis), Warren(Emily), Matthew and their lovely children. 

Mom was the devoted wife of the late Ervin Williams with whom she now rejoins in heaven alongside her beloved daughter, Darlene(DarDar). She was also predeceased by her father and mother, Dave and Muriel Springall, father and mother-in-law, Ervin and Angel Williams; siblings, Davie Springall and Catherine Jennex. 

Early on, Mom and Dad enjoyed spending their summers camping in Ingonish with family then travelling to Florida to beat the cold winters. Mom thoroughly enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and spending the afternoons shopping with her girls, Cindy and Darlene. Mom’s greatest joy was taking care of her family; she was a true homemaker. She loved to cook for anyone that dropped by or just sit and have a chat over a cup of tea. Her witty personality shined through in every conversation. Her endless love will live on in her family forever. 

We would like to send out a personal thank you to the staff on 4B at the Regional Hospital and the staff on the 2nd floor of New Waterford Hospital for all the love, support and care they gave to mom over the past few months; we are forever grateful.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m. all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford with father Jim Oliver officiating. A reception will be held in the funeral home with burial to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, River Ryan.
