I only met Michael when he moved into Maple Hill. Honestly, I didn't have a choice in the matter as he rode right up to introduce himself to try and figure out who I was, from where, the whole 9 yards. He always kept me posted on my mother, I got more good feedback from him than anyone else. Several good chats on the goings on in CBRM and the world. Certainly a great guy, I will miss him. Sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. I remember him quite well growing up. He used to to stay with us when he came to the United States and visit at my grandmothers, Rachael. He was always smiling and always helpful.

I have a lot of good memories of Michael fr when him an Joan lived up the yard he had a heart of gold i remember he helped out a lot of people including myself in his time up here ,years ago he wasn’t afraid ta tackle any job big or small ,he told us many stories of his exploits an travels all over Canada and when he lived in Massachusetts , he was also big on family an you could always depend on Michael ta show up fr support at many family get togethers ,my condolences ta Joan ,John Michael n Karen n kids R.I.P buddy
