Theodore “Ted” Voyez, age 73 of Glace Bay passed away on Friday, November 14th, 2025 in Taigh Na Mara Nursing Home.

Born in Birch Grove, he was the son of the late Marcel & Violet (Honen) Voyez.

As a youth, Theodore attended the school for the blind in Halifax. He was a very easy-going man who enjoyed the simple things in life. Theodore also enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by two sisters, Elsie McDonald, Toronto and Doreen, B.C., as well as nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Theodore was predeceased by his brother, Edward and two sisters, Carolyn and Marie.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th from 11 am until the time of the service at 1 p.m., all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. Anglican Lay Minister Allister Moore presiding. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
