It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother, mother, wife, sister, and friend. Surrounded by the love of her family, she left this world peacefully On Nov. 24, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of kindness, strength, love and memories. 

Cathy was born May 2, 1959 to to the late Eugene and Teresa Roach. She was the devoted wife of Paul, with whom she shared over 40 years of  marriage. Together they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of cherished memories.

She was the proud and loving mother of Megan (Brad Sheppard), Samantha (Gene McDonald), Andrew, Patrick, and Daniel. 

Her joy only grew with the arrival of her three treasured grandchildren, Callum, Sophia, and Jordan, who lit up her life in countless ways.

Born with a caregiver’s heart, she dedicated much of her life to serving others as an LPN; touching countless lives with her gentle presence, skill, and compassion. Whether at work or at home, she was a steady source of comfort, humor, and unconditional love.

She is also survived by her sister Eileen (John Cashen) and her brother Frank Roach (Wanda); nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Rose McNeil and Dorothy Neville. 

To know her was to know true kindness. She had a heart of gold. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of loving her.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation and celebration of life will be held on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford. The reception room will be available for a light luncheon during this time and all are welcome to attend and share a story about Cathy.
