It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores Conahan of Glace Bay on November 27, 2025 at Hospice Cape Breton following a very long and fulfilling 99 years and 358 days living through love, faith and kindness.

She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 3, 1925. Daughter of the late Catherine (Bruce) and Edward McFadgen, predeceased by her loving husband Cyril. Mother of John (Karen) Conahan, Grandmother to Denver (Kelsey) Conahan and Kyle (Emily) Conahan, Great Grandmother to Spencer and Mckenna.

Dolores was predeceased by brothers Dan McFadgen, Edward McFadgen, Harvey McFadgen and sister Margaret Rudy.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 am Monday, December 01, 2025 at St. Anne’s Church, Glace Bay, followed by a Mass of Resurrection immediately following the visitation at 10:00 am. Fr. Macleen Anyanwu presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage donations to Hospice Cape Breton in memory of Dolores Conahan.
