With her loving mother by her side, Pamela Zoe MacPherson, age 63 passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025 in Glace Bay.

Born on March 7, 1962, in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Pam was the cherished daughter of Agnes (Bettens) MacPherson and the late Thomas MacPherson.

Pam is survived by her devoted mother, Agnes; her sisters, Claudette, Paula and Trudy; her beloved daughter Lindsay (Scott) Vanderlee; and her three grandsons, Zachary, Gabriel, and Levi. She is also survived by her Uncle Jack (Catherine) Bettens and Aunt Joan Wells.  She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Pam, the second oldest of four girls, grew up in Glace Bay where she developed a love for gardening, a passion instilled by her father. Though she enjoyed tending to the garden, Pam was never afraid to set down her tools and take off for a day of fun and adventure.

In her younger years, Pam was known as a fashionista for her bold and stylish choices. Pam also adored animals and enjoyed playing cards, especially tarbish, which she played with enthusiasm and joy.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the health care team at New Waterford Consolidated Hospital and the staff at Seaview Manor for their compassionate care. A special thank you to Father Norman MacPhee and to the Palliative Care Team.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pam’s memory may be made to Saint Anthony's Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
