With tender hearts, we share the passing of Sara Corinne Dauphinee, who entered eternal rest at the age of 32 on January 4th, 2025 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Sara was a loving mother, a cherished daughter, a devoted sister, and a loyal friend. She is survived by her two beautiful twin daughters, Lilah Skye and Millie Rayne, who were her greatest blessings and the deepest loves of her life.
She is also lovingly remembered by her mother, Kelly Dauphinee, her brothers, Ryan MacDonald and Dylan Dauphinee; and her paternal grandmother, Margaret Campbell.
She was predeceased by her beloved little sister, Grace Dauphinee and her father, Adam Campbell, as well as her maternal grandparents, Omar and Tillie Dauphinee, who now surround her in peace.
Sara walked a difficult path with courage and heart. She fought the good fight for as long as she was able. When her strength was spent, God saw her weariness and, in His mercy, gently carried her home. May she now know rest, healing, and eternal light.
Sara will be remembered for her tender spirit, her deep love for her children, and the quiet depth of her soul. Her story is one of love, struggle, and grace.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Sara’s memory to support organizations that offer hope, healing, and recovery to those walking similar journeys, including local Alcoholics Anonymous chapters.
Sara has returned to God’s embrace, but her love remains—woven forever into the hearts of those who loved her.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay where a visitation will be held on Thursday evening, January 8, 2026 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Bridgeport on Friday, January 9 at 2 pm with Fr. Dan Boudreau presiding.
