Mary Frances “Fran” Price, age 82 of Gardiner Mines passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Francis Aloysius (Duck) and Emma Ada (Groom) McPherson.

Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford with interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
