It is with broken hearts and deepest sadness that we the family announce the passing of Linda Catherine Harte, age 60, on Monday, June 29, 2026, with family by her side at Maple Hill Manor.

Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Marchesin) Head.

Linda worked as a pizza cook at FatBoys Pizza for 14 years. She loved playing darts on Friday nights and singing karaoke with her crew on Saturday nights at the French Club. She also enjoyed spending time with her two daughters and seven grandchildren. 

Surviving are husband of 25 years, Alexander Harte (Sandy); daughters, Kelsey and Kathleen (Brandon); grandchildren, Dekota, Cohen, Ryder, Catherine, Brilee, Brielle, Vayda; brothers, Ray Head (Alma), and Bradley Head (Gina); sisters-in-law, Sharon Bloom, Hilda Wamboldt (Peter), Norma Stewart (Phil); brother-in-law, Cory Harte (Doreen). 

Special friends, Sherelle Kaiser, Loretta Littlejohn, Norm Morin, and Lily Morin. She had many nieces and nephews whom she adored. 

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Tommy Head.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford. Father Jim Oliver officiating.
