It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Marilyn “Georgie” Georgina Mackie (nee Musial), age 74, of Gardiner Mines, on August 15, 2026 in the CBRH, Sydney. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and over the years she was affectionately known to them as Mammie, Mammsters and Glamma. She treasured their visits and phone calls and took great pride in watching her family grow. Georgie is also survived by her siblings, Frances Bresson, Rita Brown (Eddie), Mary Alice McMillan (Walter) and Jimmy Musial (Sue), sister-in-law, Leona Bellefontaine as well as many nieces and nephews.
