Obituary of Margaret Hart

Margaret Frances Hart Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Margaret. Margaret Hart, age 80, passed away Monday August 8, 2016 at the Glace Bay Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in 1936, Margaret was the daughter of Gordon and Frances (Clements) Boutilier. Margaret enjoyed baking, knitting and crocheting, but mostly she will be remembered as a kind and compassionate lady. She is survived by her children, Wayne (Rita) Hart (Glace Bay), Darryl (Winnie) Hart (Glace Bay), Darlene (Mike) MacNeil (Bedford) and Glen (Shelly) Hart (Glace Bay), sisters Gayle, Sandra, Geraldine, Myrtle and Wilma, brothers, Clifford, Franey, Johnny, Marvin, Tony and Barry and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her five brothers, Sheldon, Blair, three brothers in infancy and her loving husband, John (Duke) in 2005. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service is Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2:30 pm in VJ McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay with Rev. Myrna MacMullin officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. A special thanks to the many caregivers who cared for Margaret during her final days at the Glace Bay Hospital and her doctor, Dr. Carol Boutilier.
