Patsy MacDonald, age 82 passed away on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Born and raised in No. 2, Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Joseph and Angela (Neary) Power.

In her younger years, Patsy was employed in Ontario where she resided for many years. She loved going for walks on Dominion Beach.

Patsy is survived by two daughters, Trish (Bob) Maitland and Roseann Wilson (Michael Wade), Ontario, two sons, Dan, Glace Bay, Steve (Claire), Ontario, one brother, Milton, Glace Bay, eight grandchildren, Bonnie, Laura, Jeremy, Megan, Travis, Stephanie, Jennifer, Mika, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Patsy was predeceased by her son, John Bernard "Bernie", a grandson, Bobby and a brother, Mickey Power.

Cremation has taken place; there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16th at 11 a.m in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay with Fr. Duaine Devereaux presiding. Interment in St. Anne's Cemetery.
