It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry McIntyre, age 77 of Reserve Mines on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at the Northside Community Guest Home.

Terry was the son of the late John and Marcella (Stack) McIntyre. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish, Reserve Mines.

For the past 7 years Terry was lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff of Carefield Manor, Dominion Guest Home and the Northside Community Guest Home (Munroe Place/Teresa Terrance).

Terry will be remembered for his smile and his many visits to Tim’s in Reserve Mines. He will also be remembered for his love of music, reading and astronomy.

He will be sadly missed by his friends and cousins; especially Gerald Livingstone, Colleen and Brittany McNamara, Shelley and Dwayne Bond, Carol Ann Dziubek (Joe), Lorna MacLean (Mike), Sandra Kehoe (Johnny), Audrey Jobe (Rob), Barb MacDonald (Neil), Joan Winters (Jerry), Miriam, John R. and Donna McIntyre.

Terry was predeceased by his parents and grandparents.

In honouring Terry’s wishes there will be no visitation. The funeral service, officiated by Fr. Norman MacPhee is Monday, February 18th, 2019 at 10 a.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. Interment at a later date in the parish cemetery.
