James Robert Warren

It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear brother and father, James Robert Warren, age 76 passed away Aug 28th in Oshawa, Ontario.

Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Kennedy) Warren of Glace Bay.

He was predeceased by his wife, Cindy, brothers, Roy (Diane), Thomas (Louise) and his sister, Charlene.

He was a loving father and brother. He is survived by his son, Robert Warren of Oshawa, ON, brothers and sisters, Theresa (Michael) Southwell, Hazel (the late Danny) MacIntyre, Hector (Edna) Warren, Lorraine (the late Angus) MacIntrye, Frances (the late Michael) MacNeil and William (Vilma) Warren along with many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to his sister-in-law, Louise, who took such good care of him.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 6th from12 (Noon) in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay until the time of the funeral mass at 2 p.m. in Holy Cross Church, Glace Bay, NS with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating. Reception first in the church hall followed by burial in St. Anthony Cemetery, Glace Bay.
