Dear Kathy,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She played a big part in yours and Susan's life. It is a terrible loss. 1928 must have been a good year. That is when my Mom was born as well. She too had a wonderful life, but we lost her this year too. Thinking of you and your family.

I had the great pleasure of working along side Dot while we worked at the Detox Centre in Sydney. I remember Dot as a very dedicated professional who was firm but always compassionate in her work environment. She encouraged me to work hard at improving my career and I was always grateful for her support.. Her wit and sense of humor also stands out in my mind. What can we say at this time...
Not only did you loss a wife and a mother, but you lost a very close and dear friend, who was also loved by many, many friends and relatives, including the two of us out here in Alberta.
