Obituary of David Alexander MacFarlane, Oshawa/Sydney

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Alexander MacFarlane, 64, of Oshawa, ON, formerly of Sydney, NS, on October 31, 2019.

David was a son of Phobe MacFarlane, New Victoria.

Surviving are his wife, Martha; daughters, Jenna and Dannielle; five grandchildren; mother, Phoebe MacFarlane; siblings, Jim, Gen, Billie, Betty, Sheila, Patsy, Winston, and Kenny. David is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his step-father, John Gouthro; brothers, Alan, Doug, and Bruce; sisters, Mary and Carol.

Cremation has taken place in Ontario. An interment service to celebrate David's life will be held at a later date.
