Obituary of Allister "Allie" MacNeil, Sydney/ Glace Bay

Allister "Allie" MacNeil, age 69 passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in Sydney. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion only a few weeks ago on October 28th, 2019.

Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret (McLeod) MacNeil. Allie worked in the coal mines for many years. He loved harness racing and he even owned his own horses. He also raised and bred beagle dogs.

Allie was a kind hearted, fun loving man who had a great sense of humour.He is survived by several siblings.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private burial will be held in Loch Lomond at a later date. On line condolences to the family can be expressed at: www.vjmcgillivray.ca
