Aunt Sis was an extremely kind, generous and loving "lady"! She was as beautiful on the inside, as she was on the outside!
Her dry wit and sense of humour were a true gift, that she did not even realize she had, and was so much appreciated.
We both truly enjoyed our visits together. She loved to hear the news and genuinely cared about how everyone in my family was doing.
The lunch we had at the Miners' Museum, with Aunt Florence, was especially memorable, and she often spoke of it.
Aunt Sis loved spending time with all of us at East Bay. Swimming in the Bras d'Or Lakes was a significant highlight to her when she came home from Boston, during the summers. She was an awesome swimmer, bathing cap and all!
Aunt Sis and her friend, Lenore, loved the weekly visits from Bob and Betty Ann. They both looked forward to the treats and homemade goodies! Bob and Betty Ann were dedicated and loving angels in disguise! Aunt Sis so looked forward to seeing them.
She always ended our telephone calls with "I love you"!
Her wish was to live to see her "100th" birthday and she made it!
Aunt Sis, you were so loved and will be greatly missed! You are now united with your entire family!
God Bless You and Rest in Peace!
Loved and never forgotten,
Marian
