Paul was a very interesting man to talk to, and he always took an interest in everyone else too. The fact he documented so much of our family history is quite incredible. He had time for others. I remain friends with Bill Tobin who lives in Victoria BC. Bill stayed in touched with Paul when he visited his family in Cape Breton. May he rest in peace and God Bless.

To Maureen, Paula, Joann, Kelly and family, We are so sad to hear of the sudden loss of Paul and want you to know our thoughts and sympathies are with you at this very difficult time. Paul was a wonderful person and inspired us all to develop family ties with his enthusiasm for get togethers and interest in the family history. He used his skills in photography to record so many occasions and events which we will always be able to treasure. We feel fortunate that we got to know Paul well over the years and have many memories of our time spent together including our wonderful trip to Nova Scotia in the eighties when Paul with typical consideration and thoughtfulness drove five hours each way to collect us from the airport, a surprising introduction for us to the long Canadian drives! We are so glad that we were able to spend time with Paul on the recent trip over to the UK and Ireland and will remember him always with fondness.
