Obituary of Barbara Ann Kosick, Glace Bay

Our mother, Barbara Ann Kosick, age 86 who passed away on January 11th, 2020 will have a visitation on Monday, July 4th, 2022 at 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am, all in VJ McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. Burial in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding.

Ma liked nothing better than to have visitors drop by. She would immediately put the kettle on for tea and lay out biscuits, molasses cookies and cinnamon rolls (her specialties).

So, we the family would like to invite those who knew and loved her to come and have a cup of tea, a bite to eat and share some memories.

Ma is survived by daughters, Charlene (Fred), Catherine (Al), sons, Stephen, Darren, grandchildren, Deanne (Shawn), Brandon (Melanie), Chelsey and great grandchildren, Grayson and Mickel.

She was predeceased by her parents, James & Annie (MacNeil) Gouthro, her husband, Cecil and her son, Richard “Ricky”.

Ma was very much loved and she will be deeply missed.
