Hello Everyone, this is Leone. I am so sorry that I cannot be with you to share our grief of Louise's death. Being on the tail end of the family ( as I am sure some of you can relate to) and being away from the Gardiner for so many years, our connection was very different from other family members. But I can say that I remember her as being unflappable. With a workload that most people could not handle she did it all and did it well. I remember babysitting for her if she was going to "bingo" or other outings and was amazed at how lovely she always looked going out the door. Over the years members of our family lovingly referred to Louise as the Gardiner Gazette. Not sure who came up with that but I have my suspicions. The reason was because Louise always knew who got married, had a baby, died or various other news. And she knew all this because she cared about people and thought it was important that milestones in people's lives should be recognized. When I think of all of you it is proof positive she was a wonderful Mother and an example to all us of the things that really matter in life. Thank you all for caring for my sister, especially you, Debra. Love Leone

To my lifetime neighbors, the Children of Louise and Charlie I offer my most sincere condolences. I have many memories of good times, great friends, who were in many ways like family. Louise was such a sweet lady and always had a kind word and took interest in you with her conversations. I have been away for over 44 years, but chatting with Louise and Charlie was always like old friends, you just picked up where you left off the last time. My many prayers go your way and may God be with you.
