I met Roy when I was giving home nursing care to his mom. We became instant friends and shared many great laughs. We debated faith with hopes of improving life for all. There’s more a joy in heaven now with Roy there.

A lovely tribute to a lovely man. I remember Roy well in my grandparent's kitchen, spreading joy with his fabulous sense of humor. God bless him and may he rest in peace.

We've known each other our entire lives. Roy was as much a brother to me as my blood relation brothers and sister. We were always close and often shared many confidences and thousands of joyful moments and so so much laughter. While my heart aches knowing that I didn't get to say good-bye, I also know we shared our lives from youth to recently and his super warm heart and incredible ability to make you feel good about yourself and wonderful to be alive was a gift that cannot be compared.
Now, he is with Mom and Dad both of whom he honored and valued and there was nothing I would not do for them both. Roy's adopted Mom, Anne Mae, he made a queen. In her later years, she never when anywhere when she wasn't dressed to the nines, made up, and hair done to the envy of many. Dan, was a simple, but gentle man who treated Roy with the value of a precious jewel. Roy never forgot that in Dan's last moments.
There will be an empty spot in my heart that cannot ever be refilled or replaced which was owned the kind of kindness and love. And that is o.k. with me because I want to be sure I never forget what a gift he was and my life has been enriched by sharing all the time I had with Roy...He is now held in the palms of His hands.

I just arrived in our home in Paradise, Michigan other wise I would be there. His Paradise is far more wonderful.

I have known Roy for quite a while, but I didn't know his family, He was one of the nicest, kindest, sweetest men I have ever met and no one spoke like Roy did, He used to say the most marvellous things whenever we met and chatted, My heart was saddened alot to hear of Roy's death,,but of this I am so sure,,,He now sees face to face Him whom He believed in so much,. And may God comfort all of Roy's family and dearest friends who , like me, will miss him alot. Roy will see to that I am sure,,,Till we meet in eternity, dearest Roy,,,, Very, sincerely, Elizabeth MacInnis,,
