I am so sorry to hear of Murdock's passing. We were great friends through High School and we "Hung Around " for 3 or 4 years. Murdock introduced to his family and I am thinking of all of them at this time. From playing Basketball at Knox Gym to getting ready at my place after basketball for the big dance at The Parish Centre (especially when Benny's band was playing ) we really had a great time hanging out together. I will miss Murdock and my deepest condolences to all the family. Kevin Binder

I worked alongside Murdock back in the late 70s or early 80s. He was so much fun to be around, smart, happy and a friend to all of us. We lost track of each other over the years until we met in a shopping mall 20 years later! He immediately knew who I was and stopped to chat and catch up.
I don't know if it was a sign or what, but two days ago his name and smiling face came to me out of the blue. To say I was shocked to read of his passing is an understatement. My sincere sympathy to his family. He spoke of each of you with so much love.

My uncle Murdock came into my life at a young age when I was 4 or 5 I do believe. I was into watching WWF (WWE) wrestling and so was he. I could remember telling him all the time that I was gonna body slam him, he use to get a good laugh out of that and it’s something that would always get mentioned every time we would see each other.
My summers going to reserve mines staying at Aunt Marys and Uncle Murdocks were the best, playing softball in the back yard, hanging with Fritz, looking up to my big cousin Frankie, going to the amazing movie stores (Rose Blanche Nfld movie stores were garbage), flee markets and camping were among the memory’s I will cherish for as long as I live.
Uncle Murdock treated me like gold and I will never forget it, he participated in everything we were doing except when we would steal the neighbours rhubarb lol.
My heart is in Nova Scotia right now and I wish my body could be there also. I love you all. I love you Uncle Murdock. Until we meet again.
