Obituary of Corinne Marie Crosby, Scotchtown

It is with broken hearts we, the family, announce the passing of our mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Corinne Marie Crosby, 42, of Scotchtown , on March 2, 2020 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of Ernest and Elaine (LeMoine) Digero. Corinne was employed at Maple Hill Manor as the Director of Dietary Services. She loved cooking and baking but most of all, attending her kid's sporting events. She was their No.1 fan and they truly were her life. Surviving are her soulmate of over 25 years, her husband, Kevin Crosby; sons, Parker, Tyson and Cooper, all at home; parents, Ernest and Elaine Digero; brother, Troy Digero; sister, Tracy Digero ; maternal grandmother, Thresa LeMoine, all of Scotchtown; mother and father-in-law, Adam and Theresa Crosby, Gardiner; sisters-in-law, Cherie (Matt) Phinney, Fort McMurray, Katie (Allan) Gillis, Grand Mira; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Tyler, Brett, Brea, Theresa, Jaxson, Dustin, Nathan and Nicholas; loving aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Corinne was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Victor LeMoine; paternal grandparents, Henry and Mary Digero; uncle, Leo David LeMoine. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford with Father Ray Huntley officiating. A luncheon will follow at St. Leonard's Parish Hall on Convent Street. Burial will be held in St. Michael's Cemetery at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Hospice/Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton or the Cape Breton Cancer Center.
