I knew Russell from both us being involved in the addiction field. Russell was a good man who gave a lot to people who needed support with their addictions. His commitment to meeting people where they are, and helping in the ways that they needed made him a valuable change agent in people's lives. He was a man of compassion and empathy...perhaps the greatest thing any man can be. Thank you Russell for you contribution to this work. And to your family I would simply say that you can all be proud of the difference Russell made. My condolences to you all.

Dear Aucoin Family,
I was very sorry to learn of Russell’s passing and wanted to offer my sincerest condolences to you. He was truly a saint among us and always a gentleman in my presence. “Friends are the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes it’s just enough to know that they are standing by “. Rest In Peace my friend, you will be remembered. At this difficult time, know that you are all in the thoughts and prayers of the Crowe family. Take good care of each other! Be well! Hope to see you soon.
Love and Prayers

A wonderful Uncle/Great Uncle - you will be so missed Russell. We cherish the memories of the years when you traveled to visit us in Ontario for many summers! You took in many, many Blue Jays games -- and when the kids were old enough you treated them each to a game and time in Toronto with your brother Milton (Fenton). Lots of hot dogs and laughs. You always took "extra" time to attend the children's ball games -- some nights walking throughout our entire community ball park to ensure that you saw each one of them play and could cheer them on.
Your dedication later in life to education and counselling those suffering with addiction provided a real-life example of determination and commitment to those in need.
Always - with love and respect,
Your niece Patti, Shawn and your Ontario sidekicks Eyren, Gabriel, Chelsea
