Obituary of Jennie Doyle, Ont./ Reserve Mines

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Jennie Doyle on Monday, April 27th, 2020 at the age of 95 in Etobicoke, Ontario. Born in Reserve Mines, she was the daughter of the late William Raymond & Margaret (Aucoin) Boutilier. Jennie attended school and church at St. Joseph’s and also owned the local convenience store called Jen Doyle’s Dairy in Reserve Mines; where lots of people got to know and love her. Jennie was also employed as a C.N.A for many years. Jennie is survived by her three children, Joseph, Mary and Kevin, all of Ontario, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, nieces, nephews and two sisters in law, Katherine Boutilier and Annie Doyle. Besides her parents, Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Leo, a baby in infancy and her two sons, Leo Jr. and Gerald Doyle, five brothers, Gregory, Thomas, Anthony, Ross, Lawrence and one sister, Frances Longman. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Reception and Cremation Center, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. A celebration of life will be held at a LATER DATE.
