Obituary of Stillbirth Ryker Patrick (MacLean) Slade, Glace Bay

On August 19th, 2020 God had other plans for our little angel’s spirit, we held you for a short amount of time in our arms, but we will hold you in our hearts forever. This is not goodbye our sweet little one, it’s see you later our precious, “Baby Boy.” Ryker is survived by his loving parents, Alyssa MacLean and Kyle Slade and his amazing brother, Marty. Also surviving are his grandparents, Allan MacLean (Michelle),Francine Janssens (Dave),Margaret Rideout (Robert), Jack Slade (Bev), great grandparents, Gibby Slade, John Janssens (Grampie), Allie and Valerie MacLean, god parents, Dan MacDonald and Keri-Anne Kostner, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ryker was predeceased by his great grandparents, Pat Slade, Sanford and Mildred MacDonald. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Stephanie Ellerker and the nurse’s labor and delivery 3rd floor of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney for taking exceptional care of our little family. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay.
