"I know that you will forever carry your love for Kelly in your hearts and memories."
My sincere condolences to the MacPhee family. I realize no words can dissolve your despair but hope that you receive some comfort in the prayers I and others are sending your way.
Kelly and I met when he was an instructor with the Glace Bay cadet corps in the late 70s. I worked out of the cadet headquarters in Halifax and did work for more than 200 cadet units throughout the Atlantic region. Of the many cadet instructors I had the privilege of meeting and working with Kelly was memorable. Professional, personable, funny and sincerely interested in helping youth. There's no question in my mind of the many individuals who were positively influenced by his dedication to the Glace Bay cadets. Kelly was a good man who will not be forgotten.

Our deepest condolences in Kelly’s passing he was one of my Cadet officers at 2878 Army Cadets, he was an amazing officer, and his dedication to the youth in Glacé Bay through education, and cadets truly helped make leaders, and influenced many for their betterment. I am still involved in Cadets and have worked most of my life in the military and now in support services for military families. Another angel has been called home. May you find comfort, love and support.

To the MacPhee Family,
Please accept my condolences on Kelly's passing.
I had the pleasure of being one of his students at St. Anthony's School and, also, of being a neighbour in #11. Kelly was a great teacher, who believed in challenging his students but was always there to help and assist when needed.
May all your memories of the great times you had together as a family comfort you all during this very difficult time.
God Bless,
Wayne & Sharon McKinnon
