I first met Pat when I was 3 years old and attended Town Daycare. Pat was a favourite teacher of mine. Whenever I would run into Pat at home, she would always greet me with the biggest smile. I could always tell how much she loved her job and connecting with the children she taught. A very special lady. I am saddened to read about her passing. I will always have fond memories of Pat. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Pat’s passing, She was such a beautiful lady and was a joy to work with. I worked with Pat at the Town Daycare in Glace Bay. She was a great mentor to me while we both had a passion to improve the lives of children with special needs, Her advice and expertise helped me along my teaching journey.

My sincere condolences to Patricia' family on her too early passing. As a Curry/Currie clan member I have devoted 65 years of research on my mother Carmella Andrea Currie's Port Morien "crowd" and all other Port Morien Currys/Curries. Over the years I met and called Patricia for family information and she unfailingly provided the answers. I will miss our meetings. As a young airman in November 1957 at Metz, Moselle France I still remember Patrick J Curry (1933 ) working with me in Telecommunications, coming into the Message Centre at # 1 Air Division HQ, Chateau de Mercy, to tell me that his Uncle - Patricia's father- Duncan Curry had been killed in a Glace Bay coal mine. Memory of the event is still vivid
I hope to have my 300 page, 83K word tree printed within a couple months.(It is all final typed but I have some additions to insert. Rest in peace dear Patricia. Your loving cousin.

Condolences to the family. My now deceased wife Roses worked with Pat at Town Day Care for several years and I knew Pat as well when I chaired the Inclusion Committee. It was such a pleasure to work with Pat during those years. Her dedication to the children was renown and a model for others. She touched with kindness and gentleness the lives of many people and will be sorely missed.

I was very shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Patricia's passing. She was a very special lady and so much like her mother Aunt Ethelyn, sweet, thoughtful and kind. Patricia was my sweet cousin and she was there for me when I was 9 and my mother died. I will never forget her kindness and understanding! We always had a laugh, a big hug and a nice catch up whenever we met. My heart goes out to her 3 lovely girls, her brother, and their families. My heart is broken as we have lost a wonderful person who meant the world to many of us.
