Obituary of Infant Alexus Marie Myers, Port Morien

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful little rock star Alexus Marie on Saturday, October 10th, 2020. Alexus gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on earth. Alexus will be sadly missed by her loving parents, mom, Chelsea Somerton, father, Jimmy Myers, brothers, Wyatt and James, grandparents, Terry (Shauna) Somerton, Mary McGillivary, Jamie Bernard Myers and Carol Ann Comer, uncles, Jeff (Angelea) Somerton, Jason Myers and Jonathan Myers who is also the Godfather, and Godmother Jennifer Hearn. Also left to mourn her passing are her loving great grandparents, Gerald and Bev Somerton and Mary McGillivary as well as her aunts, uncles and cousins. Alexus was predeceased by her uncle, Matt Somerton, great grandparents, Charles McGillivary, John Edward and Mary Rodenia 'Roy' Comer and great grandmother, Joan Somerton. Thank you to the Staff at the IWK and the Cape Breton NICU. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, October 18th from 7- 9 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Bridgeport with Fr.
