Donna always was and continued to be one of the most sweetest, kindest ladies I have ever known. She was an extremely friendly, caring and fun individual. I was so fortunate to have "hooked up" with Donna when she did her one year exchange teaching in Kelowna. We had a ball. My deepest condolences to each of you. I was so saddened to hear about Donna’s passing. We met at St. FX and stayed in touch through the years. We spoke on the phone about a month ago. Whenever I visited “back home” we always got together to catch up. Donna was always friendly, easily laughed, and always cared about others, their families and friends. Donna loved her family and was always so proud of them. She will be missed. Her spirit will live on through her family and many friends. She will never be forgotten. I had the pleasure of teaching with Donna at Glace Bay Elementary. We bowled together, as well. I thought she was wonderful. She was interested in her friends’ lives and always inquired after their families. She had a great sense of humour and enjoyed a good joke.
