Obituary of Hilda Maude Mleczko, Glace Bay

Hilda Mleczko, age 102 of Seaview Manor, Glace Bay passed away on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 at the Glace Bay Hospital. Born in Aldershot, England, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Maude (Foster) Tipper. Hilda volunteered at the Savoy Theatre for many years. She also wrote a few novels. In her younger years she was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Glace Bay. She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Elliott, Glace Bay. Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Henry Mleczko, a son, Joseph, siblings, Cathy Bradley and Joan Button. A private service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay followed by interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dorothy Miller officiating.
