Obituary of Sharon Diane MacInnis, Glace Bay

Sharon MacInnis, age 69 of Glace Bay passed away on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Ellen (Eilerson) Cox. Sharon was employed as a health care worker and later worked at STREAM. She enjoyed painting (Tole Art) and gardening and will be remembered as a kind and gentle lady. She is survived by her loving husband, John MacInnis, two sons, Shane Allan (Tess), Edmonton, Scott Andrew (Kelly), Lunenburg, two sisters, Pamela Skippens (Jim), Ottawa, Gail Murphy (Greg-Deceased), Vancouver, two grandchildren, Angus Edward MacInnis, Graceland Elsie MacInnis and nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time. Memorial donations in memory of Sharon may be made to the Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit at the CBRH, Sydney.
