I'm saddened to hear of Mr. MacKay's passing. He was my home room teacher many years ago and as soon as I saw his pic, I remembered him. I remember him as a wonderful and caring teacher. My condolences to you all. May the memories that you hold in your heart comfort and strengthen you in this time of sorrow.

Very sorry to hear of Mr MacKay’s passing. He was my teacher and principal many years ago at Central School in Sydney. He certainly was a true gentleman. Always willing to listen and always sharply dressed with his argyle sweaters and blazer. Not often we reflect on teachers of yesteryear but Mr MacKay was one I will never forget.

I was saddened to read the passing of Mr. MacKay. He was my principal many years ago at Central Jr. High. He was a kind, caring, principal who treated everyone respectfully. My dad worked with him as well, and only had wonderful things to say about him. My condolences to the family of Mr. MacKay and friends. Sincerely, Frances MacKinnon Vancouver
