Obituary of Harry William "Spook" Malin, Glace Bay

Harry William Malin, age 51 of Glace Bay passed away on Sunday, December 6th, 2020 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay he is the son of Sandra (Howley) Malin and the late Harry Malin. Harry was a fisherman (Captain) for over 26 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a great affection for animals, especially cats. But mostly, Harry will be remembered as a compassionate man with a great sense of humour. Harry is survived by his loving wife, Angela “Angie” Summerell, one daughter, Katelynn Malin, one son, Matthew Martell, a sister, Rose Malin and two grandchildren, Maggie and Myra. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Glace Bay. Burial will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Glace Bay.
