Dear Carmel and Family,
It is with heavy heart that I learn of the passing of your brother and Uncle Bryon. He was a great neighbor most of my growing up years in Back Pit. I spent many days at the house, Down the Lane, as we called it. When, walking to Mass on Sunday we kept look out for the truck driven by either Byron or Pat. We were always sure of a drive coming and going to Morien. The Phalen Family were very kind and caring people. They were like extended family since they spend alot of time with my older brother, John Vincent. I know all too well the sadness of losing family, Bryon will be there to celebrate my father's birthday today. Thinking about you all at this sad time.
